Tropical Conch Ceviche with Coconut & Citrus

Posted by Manjeri Skincare Team on

Benefits: Conch provides lean protein and selenium to support cell turnover and collagen. Citrus juices deliver vitamin C to brighten skin and fight free radicals, while coconut milk hydrates and soothes from within. Ginger and chili improve circulation and clarity.

Skin Concern: Uneven skin tone, loss of firmness, dull complexion

Prep Time: 20 minutes (plus 30-minute marinate) | Serves: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh conch meat, finely diced

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • Juice of 1 orange

  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced

  • 1/2 small cucumber, diced

  • 1/2 mango, diced

  • 1/2 avocado, diced

  • 2 tbsp full-fat coconut milk

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 small chili or pinch of chili flakes

  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro

  • Sea salt to taste

Instructions:

  • Marinate Conch: In a glass bowl, mix diced conch with lime and orange juice, ginger, and a pinch of salt. Cover and refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until the conch turns opaque.

  • Add Ingredients: Gently stir in red onion, cucumber, mango, avocado, chili, coconut milk, and cilantro.

  • Serve: Spoon into chilled bowls or onto lettuce cups. Garnish with lime wedges or edible flowers for a glowing finish.

Shopping Tips:

  • Always use very fresh conch—ask your fishmonger when it was cleaned.

  • Opt for full-fat canned coconut milk for best skin benefits.

Cooking Tips:

  • For extra brightness, add a splash of passionfruit juice or pineapple juice.

  • Serve with cassava chips or sliced cucumbers for a refreshing crunch.
