Green Bean Almondine with Lemon and Garlic

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tbsp sliced almonds

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Blanch Beans: Boil green beans for 2–3 minutes, then immediately place them in ice water to preserve color and crunch.

Sauté: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and almonds, cooking until golden.

Combine: Add drained green beans and toss with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Serve: Garnish with extra almonds for crunch.
