Celebrating 2 Glowing Years of Manjeri Skincare - A Journey of Radiance, Resilience, and Rituals

On April 10th, we celebrate two years of Manjeri Skincare—a journey that began as a deeply personal mission to reconnect with cultural body rituals and turn them into everyday glow moments. Inspired by my grandmother Manjeri’s timeless skin and radiant spirit, I launched this brand to honor those traditions and build a body care line that centers nourishment, intentionality, and ancestral wisdom.

What started as a small idea has now grown into a brand featured in British Vogue, spotlighted in Times Square, and soon to launch in Wolf & Badger’s flagship store in Los Angeles this May. It’s been an incredible ride—and I’m just getting started.

Whether you’ve been with us since day one or you’re just discovering your glow, this celebration is for you. Let’s take a look back at how far we’ve come—and what’s just on the horizon.

 

Rooted in Ritual - The Glow That Started It All

From the beginning, my goal was to create more than just body care. I wanted to share a lifestyle rooted in self-respect, global skincare rituals, and clean, effective ingredients. Manjeri Skincare is named after my maternal grandmother, who embodied the glow I believe lives in all of us when we take the time to care for our bodies with love and intention.

Two years in, I’m proud to say our products have helped thousands of people reconnect with their skin and their rituals—from exfoliating with our Coconut Bliss Body Scrub to dry brushing with our best-selling body brush.

 

Year Two Highlights - Glowing Up Around the World

As I look back on this past year, I’m amazed at how far we’ve come. Here are just a few milestones that made year two unforgettable:

🌟 British Vogue Feature (October 2024)

Being featured in British Vogue’s “Fearless Fashion” section was surreal. It felt like a moment of global recognition for something so deeply personal.

🌟 Times Square Billboard (September 2024)

Seeing Manjeri Skincare light up Times Square was one of the proudest moments of my journey so far. That billboard wasn’t just about the brand—it was about every customer, every review, and every story shared.

🌟 Launch of Peach Serenity Body Wash (January 2025)

This year, I introduced our first-ever cleanser: Peach Serenity Body Wash. Infused with Vitamin B3, ceramides, and prickly pear extract, this gentle formula was designed to calm sensitive skin and pair perfectly with our scrubs and butters. Your feedback guided this launch, and it’s already become a favorite.

🌟 Launch of Glow Sets and Global Rituals-Inspired Products

This past year saw the debut of several customer-favorite collections, including:

  • Glow Exfoliation Set: Featuring our cult-favorite Coconut Bliss Body Scrub and exfoliating gloves.

  • Smooth and Nourish Set: Pairing our Sweet Almond Body Butter with the Body Brush for the ultimate post-shower ritual.

  • Glow and Go Set: A travel-friendly duo that includes our Grapefruit Body Scrub and Kessa-style Body Mitt.

We also launched a skin quiz to help you personalize your routine. Thousands of you have already used it to discover the ritual that suits your glow.

 

Coming Soon: Wolf & Badger LA Launch

I’m incredibly excited to share that starting May 1st, you’ll be able to shop Manjeri Skincare in person at Wolf & Badger’s flagship location in Los Angeles. This marks our first West Coast retail presence and a huge step in bringing Manjeri to new audiences.

Wolf & Badger shares our values of sustainability, transparency, and ethical beauty. I couldn’t ask for a better partner for our next chapter.

I also launched the Manjeri Glow Affiliate Program this year to give back to our biggest supporters. It’s an amazing group of creators and customers sharing Manjeri with their audiences while earning and growing with us.

With my tech background, I’ve leaned into automation and AI to improve how we serve you. From smart customer service to streamlined shipping, I’ve focused on building a brand that’s both soulful and scalable. We also partnered with a third-party logistics provider so I can spend less time packing boxes and more time building the future.

Sustainability in Action - Glow With A Purpose

We know beauty shouldn’t come at the cost of the planet. Over the past year, I’ve doubled down on our commitment to sustainability:

  • Plant-based, real loofah sponges like the traditional kyangwe from Uganda

  • Recyclable and biodegradable packaging

  • Reusable exfoliation tools: mitts, gloves, and soap saver bags

I’m proud to share that we’ve joined two powerful partners in this work:

  • 🌊 CleanHub, a global organization actively working to prevent plastic waste from entering the ocean. Every order placed through Manjeri Skincare now contributes directly to their cleanup operations—meaning your glow leaves less behind.
  • 🌍 1% for the Planet, pledging to give back 1% of our annual revenue to vetted environmental causes that align with our values of sustainability, equity, and wellness.

My goal for 2025? Eliminate 1500 pounds of plastic, continue innovating toward even greener packaging and deepen our partnerships with climate-forward initiatives around the world.

 

A Note on Rising Costs—and Our Commitment to You

As the global economy continues to shift, I want to be transparent with you. Tariffs, raw material costs, and shipping rates are rising across the board—but I have no immediate plans to raise our prices.

I’m doing everything I can to absorb those costs while maintaining the quality you expect. Because self-care should feel good, not stressful. That’s a promise I intend to keep.

I’ll always be honest with you. And when we glow, we glow together.

 

Looking Ahead: What’s Next

Year three is all about expansion and evolution:

  • More retail partnerships (stay tuned!)

  • New products: botanical body oils, bar soaps, spa tools.

  • Deeper partnerships with women-centered organizations.

  • Ongoing education about body rituals from around the world.

And most importantly: Keep your glow going—inside and out.
