Wagyu Croquettes

Posted by Manjeri Skincare Team on

Benefits: These rich, crispy wagyu croquettes deliver deep nourishment through high-quality fats and protein that support skin strength and elasticity. Wagyu beef is known for its healthy fat profile, which helps maintain moisture and suppleness, while caramelized onions provide antioxidants that help combat oxidative stress. Mozzarella adds protein and calcium to support overall skin structure, making this indulgent dish both satisfying and beneficial when enjoyed mindfully.

For Frying:

  • Oil for frying

For the Caramelized Onion Aioli:

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Croquette Mixture: In a bowl, combine wagyu beef, mashed potatoes, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

  • Shape and Fill: Take small portions of the mixture, flatten slightly, place a cube of mozzarella in the center, and shape into balls or cylinders.

  • Make the Aioli: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook onions slowly until deeply caramelized and golden. Let cool slightly, then mix with mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and salt.

  • Fry: Heat oil to 350°F and fry croquettes in batches for 3 to 4 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  • Serve: Serve hot with caramelized onion aioli on the side.

Shopping Tips:

  • Choose high-quality wagyu or well-marbled beef for the best flavor and fat profile

  • Use fresh mozzarella for a creamy, melty center

  • Select firm onions for better caramelization

Cooking Tips:

  • Chill croquettes before frying to help them hold their shape

  • Fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature

  • Cook onions low and slow for the best caramelized flavor

These crispy, indulgent croquettes bring together bold flavor and rich nourishment, offering a luxurious bite that supports your glow from within.
