FAQs
Glow Loofah is a plant-based exfoliating tool made from the fibrous skeleton of the ekyangwe plant, traditionally grown in tropical East Africa. It is a loofah, not a formulated skincare product.
Small (4 × 2 in) is easy to hold and good for arms, legs and travel. Medium (5 × 3 in) covers more skin per stroke and suits your back and torso.
It's firm and fibrous when dry, and softens once wet. Because each loofah is made from a natural plant, firmness varies from piece to piece. Soak it in warm water for up to 30 minutes before use, and keep the pressure light.
Wet the loofah, add your usual soap or shower gel, and massage in gentle circles over wet skin. Rinse your skin and the loofah afterward.
You don't need to use it daily. Start with a few times a week and adjust to how your skin feels. Cut back or stop if your skin looks irritated.
We recommend it for the body, not the face. If you have sensitive skin, use it with very light pressure and less often, and stop if you see irritation.
Rinse it well after each use, squeeze out the water, and hang it somewhere that lets it dry fully between uses. A loofah that stays wet breeds bacteria faster.
