  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • ½ tsp rosemary

  • 1 cup beef or chicken broth

For the Mashed Potatoes:

  • 2 cups potatoes, peeled and chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • ¼ cup milk

  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Potatoes: Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash with butter, milk, and salt until smooth. Set aside.

  • Cook the Filling: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground lamb and cook until browned. Stir in onion and garlic, cooking until softened. Add carrots and cook for a few minutes, then stir in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Pour in broth and simmer until slightly thickened. Add peas and mix well.

  • Assemble: Preheat oven to 375°F. Transfer the filling to a baking dish and spread evenly. Top with mashed potatoes, smoothing the surface.
